Has anybody ever got their hair permanently straightened?

I got my hair permanetly straightened last fall, and it didn't work all that great, and it made some of my hairs really short and stick up in the front =/

I was just wondering if it worked on other people!

I have done it 2 times, all it did was damage my hair and the straightening didnt last at all. I had to keep blow drying my hair every week. My hair started to fall and till today I cant repair it.

Dont ever permanently straighten hair.

it worked on me but it might not work onsome people and wash your hair every day!

I have a relaxer and it works, but you have to keep it really really well moisturized and you have to wrap it in a silk scarf at night or else the hair may break off. You also can't wash it as often or else it will break off. But at the same time, you have to make sure that you deep condition it enough.
