How do do you make straightened hair stay?

How do do you make straightened hair stay for the entire day. Like make it withstand harsh weather conditions such as rain or wind. If I'm walking in the wind, the ends flick out and it does not look nice :(.

After you are done straightening you can use a product to help it stay. Frizzease [sp?] or just some gel can help it stay through out the day. I have very curly wavyish hair and that's what I do. When it's raining or humid I suggest John Frieda frizzease, or it can get really poofy and frizzy. Good luck :]

There are certain straightening creams and sprays that you can use when straightening. They usually work. Try one from Maxium.(i think thats the name)

I have natural wavvy tresses that flows below my waistline and believe me, I know how it feels having to tackle frizz by the horns! I found the best hair straightening iron called Sedu and I swear it tames the most stubborn frizz and it stays true all day long. I also apply Frederick Fekkai's hair serum for that shiny and manageable result.

Use a ceramic hair straightener. I recommend getting a Chi. They use them in the salons and they make your hair stick straight and very smooth. They're expensive ( around $140)and are very much worth it. You could probably find a good deal on one on Ebay though. You can find cheaper ones by Revlon or Vidal Sassoon at Walgreens or Meijer or something like that and I have used them and they definitely work just fine as well. But just make sure it's ceramic.

I have very curly and thick hair and straighten my hair almost everyday and never have a problem with it once it's straight. It lasts until I wash it again no matter what the weather is like (well, except rain of course lol). Just make sure when you straighten your hair, do it in sections and use a comb or brush as you straighten to keep it smooth as you go!

I don't usually put any extra product on my hair. Just use the straightener. Let me know how it goes! And good luck!
