Can i straighten my hair if it has mousse in it ?

anyhow htis morning i put Vo5 mousse for curly hair in it htise morning and styled my hair so now it's a little hard to the touch. i was wondering if i could use my straightenning iron to do my hair even if i still have moussse in it ? normally when istraigthen my hair it gets really frizzy really easily and takes me up to 2 hours and a half !

So do you guys think it would damage my hair anymore than a normarly straightening it w/out anything it it would ?

DO NOT straighten your hair dry with the mousse in it. You will be risking a lot of damage and breakage to your hair if you do that. Shampoo it and use a product specifically designed for the intense heat that a flat iron subjects your hair to. I like Hang Straight by Aveda.
