i thinik sunsilk's 24/7 straighten up cream is really good before you straighten it or your favorite straightening mousse. you should brush it well and make sure its dry. finally you should separate your hair into 5 sections and clip them up, release one section and clamp parts of the hair with the flat iron and slowly bring it down careful not to burn yourself! repeat that process until your whole head is straightened. good luck!!!

but now i have a wet to dry so i just section out my hair and straighten away

my friend told me if you are using a regular straighter to always put mouse or gel in your hair then blow dry cause you want to do this while its damp

then after you blow dry your hair

section it out then straighten it

i tried to straighten my hair in the past. it is too much work and it takes so long. i would sweat just trying it and get neck aches from it. its so hard to straighten the back. the best thing to do is to get straighten at the hair dressers. i know it is costly, but worth it. if you do straighten your hair at hair dressers, not not to wash your hair so soon afterwards so that it can last longer. as long as you body bath everyday, the hair dosen't have to washed everyday or few days or longer. i know lots and lots of women who get their hair straighten at hair dressers and don't wash it for a week or so and go back again and straighten to save on cost. always cover your hair after straightening from rain and snow.
