Well getting your hair permanently straightened is bad . . it definately saves some time, considering you don't have to straighten it all the time. .but it makes your hair feel like hay after a while. I mean, if you really want to get it done, go ahead. BUT my advice ; don't do it, love your natural hair %26amp; learn to cope with it.

honestley i think that it depends on your hair type.

if its big and frizzy, i think it will look good. Maybe a little older, but i dont think it would hurt.

i have naturally really curly hair and i LOVE it. i would never straighten it - one thing that comes with curly or wavy hair is frizz - i saw get an anti-frizz product and keep your hair the same

Yes permanently straight hair is very beautiful on girls and makes them look professional and older... but in a good way.

No! This is something that has to be kept up. My cousin used to do it and her hair looked even frizzier after getting it straightened all the time. Your best bet is to get a good haircut that will make your curls look better. You can still highlight curly hair but don't go too light or it will look awful. Try to go more natural so it looks like the sun did it.

Why do you need or want to look older? Enjoy being young while you are. Believe me, I love it when people guess me younger than I actually am.

My moms best friend has very kinky curly hair %26amp; she got it permanently straightened %26amp; it looks so good! Her hair is smooth %26amp; she doesnt have to straighten it every day but every 6 months or so she has to go back %26amp; get it straightened again because her roots are showing. It has its ups %26amp; downs but if you have the money I would do it! Good Luck :)

I got my hair permanently straightened a few years ago. It did look really good but every 6 months or so you have to go back and get the roots redone and such. It can get pretty expensive. Also my hair always felt dry and ( I dont know if it was just me ) but more difficult to brush.

:D I think its GREAT that you are getting your hair permanently straightened. I did it once and i LOVED it. It might make you look prettier...depending on how you look. Some people look very pretty with straight hair while others don't...but if your hairstylist said that you'll look great then get it[: A lot of people i know said that it's better to get it permanently straightened than to straighten it everyday...but I don't know....either way, it WILL ruin your hair ]: but that's the sacrifice that you have to make for gorgeous hair. lol. I think highlights will look good too[: but don't do it right after you just straighten your hair. Wait a few weeks or when your hairstylist says you can(lol i'm pretty sure you knew that already)
