Can someone tell me abou how to straighten my hair?

I have light brunette hair just a few inches past my shoulders %26amp; short bangs towards the front of my face and I want to learn how to /best/ straighten it. My hair does tend to get a little frizzy easily but otherwise it's decently straight beyond some waves, but I love how I look when it's straightened.

I want to know;

-What the best hair straightener is ( at least in your opinion)

-What would be the best hair products to use with my hair

-How many times a week I should straighten my hair

-Steps to actually straightening my hair

-Anything else you think would help to know

Please help me, and thanks to anyone that does. :)

As hair straightening is become very popular among common folks, there are lots of methods you can choose from to straighten your hair. Some of the best hair straightener methods are:

Hair Iron

The flat hair iron is the most preferred method of hair iron today. This method is very simple, where, by just pulling the hair straightener through your hair; you can get the style what you want in a jiffy. The flat hair iron is made of either metal or ceramic plates. By using a flat hair iron you need not rush to the parlor every time you want a different look, as you can do it by yourself.

Thermal reconditioning

This method of hair straightening is also one of the most popular methods. This is a permanent method of hair straightening, where the results can be seen only after 6 months or more after the use. In this method of hair straightening chemicals are used to give good results. So if you are planning for a permanent hair straightening then you can go for this method. However, this method is not meant for people who are going to straighten their hair for the first time.

Blow out

This is one of the oldest methods of hair straightening. It is very simple, where hot air from the dryer is used to straighten the hair. But this method will take some time to give you good results.

Wet to dry

This is latest method of hair straightening, which is a combination of hair iron and hair dryer. In this method you can straighten your hair and dry them simultaneously, where a lot of time is saved.

There are many more methods of hair straightening which depends on individual preferences, where one can choose from the technology and products that are available. However, the above methods of hair straightening are the most common ones.

the best straightener is the maxi glide. you can buy it bed bath and beyond. it has steam burst technology so that helps with humidity issues. also, i would recommend garnier anti humidity products. if your hair is thick, then use tcb grease. don't straighten it every day because too much heat is not good for hair. for it to be super straight, there's this spanish stuff called sepal. the one for super straight hair is great. use all of this like 3 times a week, but you probably won't even need it that much.

well...first of all,try this..it really works:

step 1. wash ur hair with Herbal Essense Pin Straight (pink bottle) and use conditioner if u'd like (same brand).

step 2. apply a leave in treatment if desired on wet hair. (Lanza) (to prevent heat damage)

step 3. blow dry hair evenly with large round brush.

step 4. use a straightner to remove puffines and frizziness.

I do this atleast 2ce a week..good luck.

The best straightener out there is SEDU, it's definitely the #1 straightener out there. Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston use it haha if you actually care about that kind of stuff. It's highly rated and gets the best reviews. You can buy it online or, if you're lucky, at a salon that happens to be near you. Go to www.sedubeauty.com for details. You can also get the Sedu heat protector spray along with the straightener to protect your hair. You always need to use some such product with your straightener. When you're washing your hair, use a smoothing shampoo and conditioner (go with Pantene or Frizz-Ease), and towel-dry your hair to get all the extra water out (do not rub, that creates frizz, just use squeezing motions). put in a straightening creme (once again, Pantene or Frizz-Ease) then use the straightener in slow motions. don't focus on the ends as much but on the back of the hair.
