what will happen to my hair will it make it thinner? some1 told me i will get bald spots so now im scared to get it straightened lol. can it really cause bald spots?

why would you want your hair chemically straightened. It can't be that curly, can it? Besides I think hair, with nice curls, looks very nice.

I've never heard of it causing bald spots. That sounds a little ridiculous to me. It won't make your hair thinner.

Don't always listen to what people say. It may have happened to them, but that's just cuz they had some insane experience.

i got my hair straightened couple of yrs ago. i did not get bald spots but the quality of my hair after the treatment is terrible. i just dont have that lustre and texture no more. if i were you, i would not do it ever again. even those irons on the market, however expensive spoil hair. you can imagine at 200degrees what will happen to the hair.

Getting your chemically wont give you bald spots unless the hair dressed messes it up by leaving it on too long or something, which if you go to a good hair dressed then that shoudln't happen. The only thing that it does too is it might make your hair dry.

I have this done like twice a year and all it did for me was just make it so that instead of straightening my hair for 40 minutes a day I only have to do it for around 15 minutes.

But it isnt gona make your hair have bald spots unless the hair dresser messes it up :]

never heard of someone getting bald spots cos of straightening. just take care with doing regular treatments.

it depends on what kind of chemical you are using, if it's an alkaline or acid , alkaline tends to be more harsh on skin and scalp, i would recommend VERTICAL by Redken.. works really well and very conditioning.
