I was wondering if previously straightening my hair the same day, might somehow mess up the dying processes.

I'm sure my hair will be completely destroyed but will it have any effect on the color or something stupid like that?

If you used some styling products, that might also affect the dying process.

Your hair should be free of chemicals, and not to clean. Hair conditionner makes it slipper and the color won't adhere very well
