do these three steps:
1- immediately after shower, use a polishing serum (Citri-shine/Walmart) a blob about the size of a nickel, massage in, use wide-tooth pick to comb through, and wrap hair with towel. It feels like lube, so don't use too much. Do not brush wet hair!!!!
--do your makeup stuff while it sits in your hair under the towel.
2- spritz on ProShine oil or Citri-shine (Walmart) use sparingly (no more than 3 sprays) comb with a wide-tooth pick, then finer tooth comb carefully as not to break tangled hair. This spreads it more evenly.
3- Pin up top of head section, and sides with three mini-aligator clips, leave lower layer down, dry around big round brush (3" diameter) with soft bristles using high heat, turning the brush frequently, and slowly pulling away from the root, and holding the hairdryer close to your hairbrush pointing down (using a concentrator helps), as not to frizz it up. Keep turning the brush to smooth it as it drys.
This won't take long to do each section, and will keep it smoother and softer until you can get a hold of a ceramic straightener. When you do, make that the finishing step. Or, you can finish by pulling a curling iron through without stopping, just as long as you are careful not to rip hairs out.
If you have thick hair, spritx 1-2 shots of the PureShine oil when your hair is all dry, to give it shine. If you have fine hair, don't put any more products in it or it will look greasy and unwashed.
Play with the amounts of products to find out what works best for you. I straighten almost daily, and I have figured out the hair has "memory" of how it has been dryed, and if you dry it fast and high heat, it stays straight longer. You will be turning your hairdryer on an off a few times for about 20-30 seconds per section (if your hair is fine) and 30-40 for thick hair.
Never just dry your hair with the dryer on the entire time, waving it around, and constantly brushing it straight. This is where the most damage occurs. Hair is easily broken when wet, and you will fry the cuticle with constant air blowing on it. Do it in sections, with minimal blowdryer action.

maybe a perm will help

If it's completely awful, throw it in a clip or ponytail. Can you run to the drugstore and get some conditioner and hair gel? If you can't, put a little lotion in your hair, not too much so its greasy- just enough to contain it. It's a secret some people swear by!

I think you should leave it of get a stritener!!!!!!

okay. go buy a ceramic hair straightener. before that but on mousse or hair spray. dont buy the metal straightener they burn your hair.

AFTER THE SHOWER JSUT PUT SOME CURLING MOUSE IN IT OR SOMETHING. ITLL BRING OUT YOUR HAIRS SHAPE AND BOUNCE, you dont need to damage it every day by straightening it

get a hair relaxer or you can use a home perm and just straighten it instead of curling it. You can also use an actual iron. Thats what they used to do back in the day before flat irons.

try and see if there is a walmart or any beauty shop nearby, and buy yourself a straightener. there are also home perm kits to make your hair straight, but it may not stay for long if your hair is extremely coarse..i think the best option is a good, medium-priced straightener like remington or conair. if you have the money, try and find a chi straightener..they work great!

I used to use an actual iron to straighten my hair. My hair is really thick and used to take too long and was too hard to straighten. This works excellent and better than a hair straightener.
If you sit at the end of your bed and put all your hair on top of the bed and ask someone to split your haid into 3 or 4 sections, get them to brush your hair along the bed and run the iron along straight after, and continue. try and roll your head around aswell, so they can get the sides done too and see if you can sit up a little so the roots can be done a bit easier. Hope these instructions make sense.
