Does hair straighten better when it is air-dryed or when you use a blow dryer?

I use a fl;at iron for my hair. I wonder if it gets more straighter when your hair air dries by itself, or when you blow-dry it.

when you blow dry it because you can style it the way you want, when you let it air dry you have no control over what shape it will be and what texture. mine gets a bit wavy when i let it air dry. thats why i blow dry it.:)

Blow dry it.

That straightens it out and controls the frizz of it more than just air drying it.

i think its the same either blow or air. i have natural curly hair but when i do straight it i go to a salon. but if i try to do it myself

does ur hair curl up when it does air dry if it does then it will work better if u do it air dry then straight i would try to use straight gel on ur hair when its wet then blow dry then straight

Probably the best thing to do would be use a round brush through your hair while blow drying it. It will straighten your hair a bit, then just use the flat iron to finish straightening it. But the way to go that won't cause a lot of damange would be to let your hair air dry then use the flat iron. Over time all the heat from the blow dryer and flat iron can cause a lot of damange. Ceramic plated straighteners are the best ones to use. It would be good to use a product in your hair while it's wet that is made to help prevent damange when you blow dry/straighten.
