What will happen if I permanently straighten my hair?

My hair is pretty curly and really frizzy. I wanted to permanently straighten it (not relax it) but I don't know if it will be worth the money because I don't know how the result will be. I want to know if permanently straightening my hair will actually make it straight like a flat iron does, of if the result will be the same as just relaxing my hair.

You will notice a difference rather than just relaxing the hair, I've tried many things, and he best results I've gotten where from a permanent straightening cream.

Before straightening it, I used to use the iron everyday...my hair was in good conditions but after the straightening my hair was shinnier, smoother and nicer. No more iron or dryer and it was still straight!! If your hair is really really curly maybe you'd just need to use an iron or a dryer to make the end go inwards or outwards. But it will still be straight.

I was so afraid I'd get split ends, but that didnt happen. It was expensive, about 300 dollars, and it lasted about 9 months (my hair grows really fast) if yours doesnt grow as fast as mine you could keep it for about a year or so.

The trick here is that you check with your stylist that he uses one that is like a cream.

I dont have the name of the product my stylist used but it had the followin steps:

1- Rinse hair apply special shampoo

2.-Apply cream, and comb it straight (20 mins)

3.-Rinse again, apply 2nd cream...wait

4.- Rinse and dry with a straightener and do not wash for 2 days.

Try straightening it with a flat iron at first, temporarily. if you like the way it looks, then go for it, because thats the way it will probably look.
