your hair will be dried up and lose its natural conditioners and oils. you'll get more split-ends and it'll be harder to grow out your hair.

It'll dry up, get brittle and break over time. Better to give it a break for awhile and let your naturally beautiful curly (or wavy hair) have it's way for a bit...

first, dryness. then split ends. then, your hair could get so weak that it'll start snapping off closer to the root and you will eventually have to cut it. embrace your curls or waves!!!!

deep condition a lot!!!!! use a heat protecting straightening cream and always keep the flat iron of blowdryer moving and you should be ok. your hair wont be perfect, but if you take these steps you should be ok. getting a good ceramic flat iron helps too, cause you can go faster with the same result. i like the chi ceramic iron

What happens if you straighten ur hair all the time?
if you don't put the moisture back in it will break become dry and frizzy so get a good moisturize and leave it in over night then rinse in the morning about once a week

Nothing will happen as long as you use an ionic straitner and blow drier. It will not dry up and fall out.. that is rediculous! I have been doing this for 12 years and my hair is healthy!

Of course your hair will get messed up, you will get split ends, frizz and let's not start on stripping the nutrients out of your hair. Think of it this way.....if I was to put a chicken in the oven for 2 hours on 180 then that's fine, but if I was to keep putting that same chicken into the oven day after day after day, then I think it would be safe to say that the chicken's has the shyte heated out of it and it ain't worth a damn. Hair straighteners are ok for occasional use, but not everyday, your killing your hair.

My daughter's hair has broken off at many different lengths due to this constant overheating process. You really have to give it a rest sometimes. And be very careful with the heat settings.

Well depending on all straighters, each will have a different effect of it. The Chi is a good straighter though it does tend to break your hair easily. The Paul Mitchell straighter is a good straighter as well leaving your hair shinier than most straighten irons would. I use "Catwalk Fashionista Smooth %26amp; Shine" which reduces split ends and hair breakage. I would highly recommend that, you can find it at professional salons if they sale Figi products.

ur hair will get fried if u dont use a barrier spray

They are wrong. I straighten my hair all the time. I bought the iron that allows the steam to escape, and even use it on my hair when it's wet. But I protect my hair from damage by using a thermal protector on my hair. I spray it on before I use my straightner. My hair shines, and looks and feels smooth all the time. No breakage, no damage. In addition, I have my hair highlighted every six weeks. Not baldy here..just long luxiourious hair. If you want the name of the product..contact me

yes it will dehydrate it and make it rough. use a deep conditioner and please dont dye it b/c youre already torturing it with the iron. try to go a few days a week (maybe when youre not going out) without using heat appliances.

You may not notice it now, but your hair is already being fried. To protect it and keep it healthy (but still keep straighting it) try using a deep fortifying conditioner that works from the outside in (I use Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask). When you style it, especially if its still damp, use (sparingly) a gloss serum like Citre Shine Polishing Serum that is made to help protect against heat styling damage. Also, when you wash your hair use warm water, the colder the better, not hot because that hurts it, and try to wash your hair every other day instead of daily because this will help keep the natural oils in your hair. Also, look for a mild shampoo, especially one the is moisture rich, or is specifically made to protect against heat styling damage. Good Luck!
