To all the girls out there that straighten their hair?

Hiya girls do any of you use heat defence spray when straightening your hair? Because what I want to know is do you put heat defence spray on your hair before you blow-dry it. And then when you straighten it do you spray each strand of air with the spay again?

Yes, I do use heat protectant spray, I love the kind by Tressemme.

I do spray it all over my towel-dried hair before I blow dry it, then use a special flat brush to make sure the spray goes throughout my hair.

Yes, when you straighten your hair, you have to spray it again. Although, you can't use as much, because then it will make your hair wet. Ever gotten some water on a straightener that was turned on? It sizzles. Same will happen to your hair. Unless you have really long hair, I'd say 1 spray per piece of hair you're going to straighten, then run a brush through it, then straighten.

Tip: Don't go over 1 piece of hair with your straightener more than once, because it rarely makes a difference and just damages your hair more. Instead, just go really slow down the piece of hair.

I straighten my hair every once and a while. I dont use any spray, But i think i should bc after i straighten my hair there are some parts that dont straighten. I know there are some items you can use to help in the straightening process. Sorry I could not help you out to much, good luck!!!!

I use the Heat Glide from Redken, which is a thick serum to use when you're gonna flat iron your hair. Before blow drying, I use Hot Straight, a water based yet creamy balm by L'Or鑼卆l Studio line, it really helps.

You can do that, but you really only have to do it once. Spraying twice makes me feel like there will be a tad too much product in there.

i grab a strand and i spray it and keep repeating with each piece,

if your hair still get's wavy during the day after straightening it i always spray mine with hair spray then brush it out and it stay's perfectly straight all day!

It is GREAT!

It is actually made for ethinic type hair, but I am white and it works wonderful %26amp; makes my hairs so soft.

Just make sure not to use to much or you will look oily.

I use this thing called Vivid Color--it's sort of like this oil thing that comes in a little blue bottle--on my hair before i blow dry it, and then again before I straighten it once it's dry.
