I have VERY thick blonde hair and I always have my hair straightened. The problem is it never seems straight enough to me and flips out at the ends. My hair is also naturaly oily so i stay away from hairsprays and gels. So do u have any techniques that make ur hair super straight?

if you go to your hair stylist, get your hair straightened...it's supposed to stay for a few months and you don't have to use a straightener so your hair wont get damaged

Have you tried using a ceramic flat iron? A decent one isn't as expensive as you'd think; I got mine from Sally's Beauty Supply for around $50. It's not professional quality, but it gets the job done quite well.
Also, talk to your stylist about thinning your hair out; it's like a special way of cutting it. And if all else fails, talk to your stylist again about perhaps a mild relaxer.

I straighten my hair too, and I straighten it every morning, not after a shower, but when it's allready straight. If your hair's oily, there's really nothing you can do, besides risk burning yourself by getting a straightner that goes to a higher temperature. Also, maybe sometimes, purposely flip your hair out on the ends, it looks cute. You should straighten it, and then put curlers in it. Because, eventually you'll get tired of straight, if you were born with curls, like moi, I get tired of straight sometimes. Also the curlers make the curls more beautiful than how curly girls naturally look. Just switch it up a bit, you'll be fine, I'm sure you look great!!! Good luck!!!
