Hair: to straighten or not to straighten?

For the summer (I don't have enough time to put much effort into my hair during the school year but I want gorgeous hair in the summer): does hair look better straightened so it's all straight and silky or slightly curled and tossled and blowdried and all that so it's sort of thick and bouncy?

I'm not really good at describing what I mean, so here's some pictures:

bouncy:

^^ except a bit less dramatic

straight:

My hair is closer to the thick and bouncy option, but it straightens very easily. Also, I have non-damaging straightners and blow-dryers and all that.

Anyway, which look looks better/is sexier? I can't decide!!

Hair: to straighten or not to straighten?

wavy hair is a sexier look in my opinion. My boyfriend loves my have tousled like that. Try John Frieda Beach Blonde Ocean Waves Sea Spray-if you havent already! I love that stuff for the beach wave look!

wavy cus it also gives you the beach babe look for the summer

Hair: to straighten or not to straighten?

better cut ur hair short...

Hair: to straighten or not to straighten?

I would do both. one somedays, and the other, other days. it gives u variety and u don't have to choose!

Hair: to straighten or not to straighten?

bouncy and wavy its really pretty and it'll look WAY better in summer well really anytime.

both are really pretty why dont you change it up on different days? I like them both though.

the first pic loks really good for the summer, it'll make you look totally beach babe type!!

I think hair straighteners really dry out your hair, along with the sun, so keep it natural. It looks better anyways. If you'regoing to either straighten it or curl it (both probably dry out your hair, I don't know) I think it looks better curly. It also kind of depends on what you look like.

the curls are very in right now!

Hair: to straighten or not to straighten?

I like the second curly one and both the straight. I think that you should mix up the two styles. One day have it curly, another day straight. It's fun to mix it up. Try it and see which you prefer too.

Hair: to straighten or not to straighten?

well...............it depends on how U look!!! For me streight cuz i got that bouncey/wavy hair alll the time (natural!)!! but in those pictures i would have to say wavy/bouncy!! if u have streight hair all the time I would say wavy! But if u have hair like me then straigh!! If u change your hair like that it looks better cuz ppl know how u already look so it looks pretty/cool/better/ect.!

I love the way wavy, tousled hair looks with a tan and sun-kissed streaks in the summer. It's a very natural look that's really easy to achieve and gives you a sort of carefree, bohemian presence.

My hair is pin straight on its own, but in the summer it has a tendency to frizz out a bit with the humidity. Additionally, chlorine, salt water, and the sun all cause unwanted damage to my hair. With all that inevitable damage and split end potential, I prefer to not heat style daily and make it worse.

Alternatively, after a shower, I just towel dry and slather my damp hair with leave-in conditioning cream (I love Garnier Fructis's Sleek %26amp; Shine Leave-In Conditioning Cream). Then I scrunch it a bit to bring out some waves. Since it's a super quick process, right away I'm ready to sunbathe, go sailing, play sports, or whatever else, while my hair air dries.

Besides, in the summer, wouldn't you much rather be outside than indoor straightening your hair?

Ultimately, the wavy look is better for your strands overall health and condition, in addition to being a helluva lot easier. Good luck :) I'm sure you'll look beautiful whichever style you choose.

I think curls are always sexier and stuff, and strait I think more laid back. However I would alternate hairstyles so you have a variety through out the week. Either way Im sure your hair will look amazing! =)
