i have extreamly frizzy and curly hair. i dont mind my hair being curly, but i hate it being frizzy! i think ive tried everything. ive tried getting my hair relaxed, purmed, straightened, everything! the only thing that seems to work is getting my hair straightened but it dry's my hair out really bad and then my hair feels like straw. then i put creme rinse im my hair and then it gets frizzy again! and plus i dont enjoy straighting my hair every single day. can anyone help me?

DON'T USE SHAMPOO!! ok. shampoo has harsh detergents that could harm curly hair. condition your hair every day. and when you get out of the shower put gel on it and scrunch. then you either go about your day and don't touch it or use a blow dryer with a diffuser. Go to a beauty salon or even a drugstore. There's tons of anti-frizz products like shampoo and conditioner and other things.

run it through my hair while it's still damp %26amp; I usually air dry, but it works with blow drying too. Cuts the frizz dramatically.... curly hair can almost never get rid of all the frizz, but make sure you're conditioning regularly, and using a good product for your hair.

ok well first of all NEVER use antifrizz lotion or shampoo it gets it worse. after u wash ur hair just use a heat protection spray or mousse and then blow dry and straighten but it may take long but there are great results.

use a lot of conditioner mainly Panteene (green bottle) extra starignthen, as shampoo use Sunsilk (blue bottle), as a cream use Garnier Extra shine to keep it from getting dry

i think we have the same hair. i cant straighten my hair my self and that get expensive to i use suave moose #8 i know its cheap but it really works. i just towel dry my hair brush it and apply.....alot. style it add a lil hair spray and its done. if its crunchy just run ur hands over it a few times

I have the same problem with my hair. Try using a different shampoo...most of them contain strong detergents. Also, your water could be part of the problem because of all the chemicals. I now use Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight (pin straight) conditioner and shampoo. Comes in bright pink bottles. It's great. Also try a spray-on, leave-in detangler like Daily Care by Joico. You can get it at a salon or beauty outlet store.

My hair is curly too! I hate it! I am sorry you are going through this. It seems that you have already damaged your hair so much,it is beyong repair. I think you may have to cut it shorter, or keep up with cuts while all of the treatments in your hair grows out. In the meantime, it sucks, but we have to find a way to love our curls and work with them. The trick to curly hair is moisture. I strongly recommend you call in the experts to work with you. You could try to use coconut oil in in your hair right before bed as a form of moisturising, then tying your hair with a silk scarf/ headtie (to maintain the moisture, and so its not left on your pillowcase). You can style the next morning or rinse the oil out if you choose.

It is also recommended that you try not to wash your hair more than 2 or 3 times a week, as this can remove all the natural oils from your hair (leaving it dry and frizzy).

You should also try to use a leave-in treatment once a week for your hair (such as infusium), as this can stop breaking and frizzing too. Try not to over- process or blow dry and straighten your hair too nuch, as this could lead to not only frizzyness, but split ends as well

my hair is wavy and frizzy i use hair spry to make it frizzless i sry my hair and then i brush out the hair spy so it is soft again and it keeps the fizzies down i use a spray called rave 4x mega unscented hairspray .......

the hair spry rely does have a smell tho but it smells relyy!!!good!like candy and it does NOT make your hair gressie looking like the other products you can buy at the stor for frizzy hair

I have very curly, fizzy hair too. I stopped trying to straighten it, especially in the summer because it was a losing battle. Matrix has a straightener which does not eliminate the curl but calms down the bulk and smooths frizz. I do not remember what it was called (Smooth Operator?) or something to that effect. You should ask your hairdresser about that. I use a curl enhancing shampoo and conditioner made by L'Oreal (available in salons). I also mix a gel with Biosilk Silk Therapy---which is along the lines of frizz ease but it distributes much more evenly along the hair shaft and softens your hair. Once or twice a week I use a re constructor made by Ojon (Sephora). It is an amazing product that repairs , tames the frizz and bulk and imparts shine. Hope this helps.
